Well, not actually your fitness, but your fitness arsenal -- at least the portable gear that can be transported with ease and still allow you to stay fit while traveling. I'll be going out to Fort Collins, CO in a few days, and I've had to give this a bit of thought. Sure, we'll be doing the requisite hiking in the snow - so my gear in that case is my legs, my lungs, my pedometer and yes ... my trekking poles. Wouldn't leave home without 'em. But I'll probably also bring my Bodylastics resistance elastic band set, a must have when traveling. I've got to be selective, of course, due to weight restrictions. Can't go over that 50 pound limit without paying extra.
So the next time you're traveling, be thinking of what's in your fitness arsenal that you can take along. In fact, think about this long before you're traveling. Think about it when you're PURCHASING. If you don't have portability built into your weapons of fitness, you need to rethink your strategy.
